SCRIPTURES

In ‘Agadhbodh' the Paramguru has written:

“ Whatever questions arise in the minds of the people, the answers are there in the books. So, the people should study the books again & again and understand the meanings”. Such study gives deep knowledge. But, it is not easy to read all these books as they are written in Prakrit language – a mixture of Gujarati, Hindi & the dialect spoken by the saints. They are written in verse, in the form of chopai, a four-line couplet. Around eleven thousand chopais are written by the Paramguru. Two small books are in prose also, but there also the language is medieval Gujarati. It is said, the Paramguru dictated all these book to four persons Chotam shastri, his brother Vrajlal Shastri, Ram Bhau & Bhikhoo Bhau. Sometimes he dictated to all these four writers simultaneously.

AGADHBODH

‘Agadhbodh' is a widely read granth of Paramguru. It depicts the stories of the Pragatya and Kaivaldhamvas (going to the residence of the creator) in short. It also narrates the previous life-stories in various Dweeps (continents) along with the philosophy of Sakarta Siddhanta, Rahesh Veedhi, a brief account of the devoted disciples, the concepts of Kaival & Kaivaldham in 1850 chopais.

PANCHAM SUKSHMAVED

‘Pancham Sukshmaved' is both in prose & verse. It has fourteen Skandhs the first five in verse & the rest nine in prose. The first five verse Skandhs depict the importance of Pancham Ved. The other nine prose Skandhs explain the philosophy of Panchikaran. The concept of Bhal-tilak (a mark on the forechead) is also explained in this granth. The granth talks about the Fifth Ved which is subtle and also forgotten. The spiritual aspect of the Pancham Ved is described here. The story of the Pancham Ved is explained in another granth – ‘Sakarta Adwait Laksabodh Panchilaran' by the Paramguru. The last Skandh of this granth gives the reasons for the skin diseases like measles, smallpox & chickenpox. This shows the scientific aptitude of the Paramguru.

VISHWABHRAM VIDHWANS NIDHI

If we take into account the number of chopai, then ‘Vishwabhram Vidhwans Nidhi' granth is the biggest granth as it has 3800 chopais in it. It is published in two parts. As the title suggests, it demolishes the wrong beliefs, traditions & practices of the people and shows the right path.
